Thursday and Dicky chatted with JOSH DEAN from the show “FREE RIDE” which airs this Sundaty nite at 9:30 on Fox. Plus we chatted at great length about a Boston pugilist — Peter McNeeley. He’s also the subject of a fascinating documentary — more on that later.

SONS & DAUGHTERS — the new show bowing tonite on ABC — this a.m. Dicky spoke to one of its creators and two of its stars…Nick Holly, Amanda Walsh and Greg Pitts chatted about half-hour comedies, improv and what it means to premiere nationwide.

Plus: KUDOS to the Morning Show’s own GAVIN HOOD who won the Oscar Sunday nite for the Best Foreign Language Film — TSOTSI.

BUT we nevertheless had a fantastic guest, the Oscar-nominated Gavin Hood whose South African film “TSOTSI” is a contnder in the Best Foreign Film category. The pic has been garnering insane buzz and opens in LA & NYC today so do check it out — it’s an unbelievable story.
